How do you know if your business is social?
It's simple really. What is your client base? Does this group / target utilize a social platform?

This sample Facebook Ad shows just how simple an Ad can be. Nothing on the Ad tells of which company you're dealing with, how much you will save, or even where the link is going to take you. Would you click on this ad?
Without seeing the Ad Data, we are going to wager that the ad isn't very effective. Primarily because it is simply too vague. Sure, it makes sense to leave room for intrigue, but most web users are wary of being targeted by malicious, or at the very least "time wasting" advertisements. To us, this ad does just that. We would opt to research elsewhere for more information if truly interested in a new phone.
Better, but why? We like to see a clear title to the ad. This ad asks (without a question mark!) if you want to be a photographer. This works, as it is within the interests of the person's Facebook Page, which makes this a good start. Secondly, it's nice to see where you might end up if you click the ad. The URL shown may not always be the Destination URL, so it's best to scroll over the ad to see where your browser is heading if you click. Last but not least, the intent of the photo ad is direct: Fill out a form. So they want some basic information from you to see if you qualify for Tuition Assistance. The ad displayed was through a profile that did not have a college degree listed in the Information Tab. Good targeting, and a decent ad.

9zero6 assisted U.P. Overland with a complete website design along with cultivating an organic Social Presence, currently sitting at 1,021 Fans on their Facebook Page. This targeted page focuses specifically on Adventure Interested individuals, with cross promotion on dozens of U.P. related Facebook Pages being frequently utilized to gain high quality Fans. The decision was made early on that rather than going for quantity, U.P. Overland was much more interested in quality numbers. The message of the Chamber, refined to local and regional community members interested in business related dealings, requires focus and consistency of message. Iverson Snowshoes & Furniture | Iversons on Facebook
Iverson Snowshoes contacted 9zero6 with full web presence concerns, requiring a base-line functional web site to sell their product, but having had little success interacting with customers via the web. 9zero6 set up their Facebook Page, and upon hitting the Facebook Username requirement of 25 fans, named the page facebook.com/snowshoes. The effort is very new, and the growth has been incredible for Iverson, putting them in touch with a writer who subsequently wrote a highly circulated article on the company, as well as several long time Iverson enthusiasts who were elated to have direct social interaction with a well known silent sport brand.
